About Us
The primary focus of the Stress, Trauma, and Recovery lab is in to conduct research aimed at improving our understanding and treatment of trauma.
Many of our projects are aimed at understanding how to increase resilience and improve treatment outcomes for those exposed to abuse, violence, and other traumatic experiences.
Our work generally focuses on trauma-related mental health conditions such as posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, and substance use.
